Bisexual are those people who are attracted to both, same gender (sex) as well as opposite gender(sex) people.
example: boy attracted towards other boys as well as towards girls.

It may be considered that there is a range or spectrum.
At one end are those
who are sexually only attracted towards other sex (and definitely not sexually attracted to same sex) heterosexual.
At the other end are those
who are sexually only attracted towards same sex (and definitely not sexually attracted to other sex.)

In between the two are bisexuals.

Thus, there are no rigid compartments as we have been believing, but a range of preferences in sexual attraction.

Transvestite fetishism is considered (sexual deviation like several other sexual deviations initially called as perversions) paraphilia hence, not included here.
