Medical Science is in agreement that homosexuality is not a disease.
There is no treatment as there is no disease.

Example:
Just as left handed person is not sick person and to change him to be right handed is foolish.

If you sometimes get aroused by the so called opposite sex than you are bisexual. Sometimes people label themselves wrongly and suffer.

Bisexuals can marry and live in conformity with society if they wish to. They may actually not be homosexuals but have mislabeld themselves because of few instances of sex play with same sex partners. This is not uncommon in hetrosexuals.

Consulting a competent therapist will help relieve distress.
Counseling can systematically sort out a person's problems and get her/him back in an acceptable manner.

In the past week, Nicole Dishuk, aged 31 a newly graduated student with a doctoral degree who's about to start her new career as a Doctor, was flown into a nearby hospital, because she had passed out.

They found a blood clot in her neck, and immediately took her by helicopter to the ER to operate. By the time they removed the right half of her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain; the clot had spread to her brain causing severe damage.



From last Wednesday night, she had been battling. They induced her into a coma to stop the blood flow, operated 3 times and finally, they said there was nothing left that they could do. They found multiple clots in the left side of her brain. The swelling would not stop, and she was on life support.

She died at 4:30 yesterday. She leaves behind a husband, 2 year old Brandon and 4 year old Justin. The CAUSE of DEATH - A birth control injection she was getting that allows you to only have your period three times a year.. It interrupts your menstrual cycle, and although it is FDA approved, it shouldn't be!

So to the women in my address book - I ask you to boycott this product & deal with your cycle once a month so that you can live the rest of your life in a healthier manner. Remember, you have a CYCLE for a reason....

In the books, Russell among other things advocated sex before marriage.

Russell was prevented from appearing in court and an appeal by the American Civil Liberties Union was denied in several courts. The City of New York's lawyers told the Board of Higher Education that the verdict would not be appealed. A few days later Mayor LaGuardia removed the funds for the position from the budget.

How Russell interpreted Social Disapproval
When Russell later published the lectures he gave at Harvard that fall as An Inquiry into Meaning and Truth he added 'Judicially pronounced unworthy to be Professor of Philosophy at the College of the City of New York' to the listing of distinctions and academic honours on the title page in the English version.

Russell commented on Judge McGeehan that "As an Irish Catholic, his views were perhaps prejudiced" and compared his case to the case against Socrates saying that "precisely the same accusations were brought - atheism and corrupting the young".
Judge McGeehan's original ruling is published as Kay v. Board of Higher Ed. of City of New York, 18 N.Y.S.2d 821 (1940).

Russell's mother Catherine (née Stanley) was from an aristocratic family, and was the sister of Rosalind Howard, Countess of Carlisle.
Bertrand Russell's father, Viscount Amberley, was an atheist and consented to his wife's affair with their children's tutor, the biologist Douglas Spalding. Both were early advocates of birth control at a time when this was considered scandalous.
Russell's father died of bronchitis following a long period of depression in January 1876.

Frank and Bertrand were placed in the care of their staunchly Victorian grandmother, the Countess Russell (née Lady Frances Elliot), who was the dominant family figure for the rest of Russell's childhood and youth.

The countess was from a Scottish Presbyterian family, and successfully petitioned a British court to set aside a provision in Amberley's will requiring the children to be raised as agnostics. Despite her religious conservatism, she held progressive views in other areas (accepting Darwinism and supporting Irish Home Rule), and her influence on Bertrand Russell's outlook on social justice and standing up for principle remained with him throughout his life - her favourite Bible verse, 'Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.' (Exodus 23:2), became his mantra. However, the atmosphere at Pembroke Lodge was one of frequent prayer, emotional repression and formality; Frank reacted to this with open rebellion, but the young Bertrand learned to hide his feelings.
Russell's adolescence was thus very lonely, and he often contemplated suicide. He remarked in his autobiography that his keenest interests were in sex, religion and mathematics, and that only the wish to know more mathematics kept him from suicide. He was educated at home by a series of tutors, and he spent countless hours in his grandfather's library.

His brother Frank introduced him to the work of Euclid, which transformed Russell's life.

Love Marriage Despite Opposition
He soon fell in love with the puritanical, high-minded Alys, who was a graduate of Bryn Mawr College near Philadelphia, and, contrary to his grandmother's wishes, he married her in December 1894.

How Russell ditched his wife?
Their marriage began to fall apart in 1902 when it occurred to Russell, while he was out on his bicycle, that he no longer loved her; they divorced nineteen years later, after a lengthy period of separation. Alys pined for him for these years and continued to love Russell for the rest of her life.

Bertrand Russell's Affairs
During this period, Russell had passionate (and often simultaneous) affairs with a number of women, including Lady Ottoline Morrell and the actress Lady Constance Malleson.

Romance with Dora
Russell and his flame Dora were together in China and Japan. On the couple's return to England in 1921, Dora Black was five months pregnant, and Russell arranged a hasty divorce from Alys, marrying Dora six days after the divorce was finalised. Their children were John Conrad Russell, 4th Earl Russell and Katharine Jane Russell (now Lady Katharine Tait). Russell supported himself during this time by writing popular books explaining matters of physics, ethics and education to the layman. Together with Dora, he also founded the experimental Beacon Hill School in 1927. After he left the school in 1932, Dora continued it until 1943.

Russell's marriage to Dora grew increasingly tenuous, and it reached a breaking point over her having two children with an American journalist, Griffin Barry.

The first night after the wedding is supposed to be a very special night for the bride and the groom. The popular Hindi cinema in India shows a bedroom with a bed having four props on its four edges. Garlands and flowers held on the props lavishly decorate the bed. The bride coyly brings a glass of sweet milk flavored and enriched with dry fruits. The film hero who is reclining on the bed looks amorously at his shy wife and grips her hand. He pulls her close to him. The wife bashfully sits near him and as he tries to bring her closer to him the romantic atmosphere mounts. Then the censors step in.

Many a fresh husbands have similar bed enthusiastically garlanded by friends for their very first night. He believes that this being the night he has to do sexual intercourse. Not doing so would be abnormal and the bride would look down upon him. What a first impression? Also, he doesn't want to be ridiculed by his friends/relatives for failing on his first night. In some Arab countries relatives wait outside expecting to be shown bloodstained cloth, which is considered, proof of the girl's virginity. In the traditional Indian marriages the boy and the girl sleep late, way past midnight, yet have to wake up early in the morning. Not only the previous days but the entire wedding day as well is very tiring for the groom and the bride. They have to force smiles on their faces as they go through the motion of greeting individually friends and relatives who are lined in a queue waiting their turn to go on the podium where under the glaring lights of the cameraman they pose for the video shooting. By the end of the day, you bet, they are dead tired and would drop off to sleep like wooden logs. But at night in bed he labors under the pressure "I have to do sex on my first wedding night". Commonsense tells how inappropriate is the demand on oneself for sexual activity when the couple is drained out and fatigued. Think.

So the marriage and sexual health experts' advice that on the first night since the couple is most likely to be tired after the grueling wedding ceremony it is best to avoid sexual intercourse and instead hug each other and go to sleep in order to wake up refreshed for the next day. You have an entire lifetime for sex. Not heeding this sane simple advice if the hero goes ahead for sexual intercourse it is most likely going to result in sexual experience which is less than satisfactory in many ways; sometimes even leading to a sour, disappointing experience.

What will she think of me? Would she not be disappointed if I don't do sexual intercourse? Doesn't she crave for it? It's not in sync with manliness. It isn't macho. It is not the normal thing. Will I not be a laughing stock amidst friends and relatives? First Night comes only once in one's lifetime. It's special. Should you let go on such a unique occasion? Is it the right thing to do? These would be the typical doubts entertained by the ignorant.

First, understand that the bride would not resent you but would in fact thank you and appreciate if you choose to abstain from sexual intercourse on the first night. You could even speak to her to find out if it's acceptable to her if you call it a day and both take rest, keeping the sex thing for the next available opportunity so that it's pleasant and thoroughly enjoyable for both. Second thing is you are not obliged to tell outsiders what's happened or not happened inside the bedroom. It's your personal choice. It's your private matter. And even if they know, don't you worry, for your reasons are sound and sane.
