A doctor from north Wales who was jailed for using the Internet to create child pornography is due to appear appear before the General Medical Council.
Following his release, Robert Arwel Jones, 36, successfully delayed a judgment on his professional future.
He was sent to prison in February this year for four months after admitting two charges of possessing and making indecent "pseudo-photographs" of children.
Hundreds of images
Police had discovered hundreds of child pornography images on his home computer at Deganwy.
Dr Jones, who ran an alternative therapy centre in Colwyn Bay, thought he had erased the pictures, but they were retrieved by police experts.
He was banned from practising medicine on the grounds of public safety by the GMC's preliminary proceedings committee.
Dr Jones urged the conduct committee earlier this month to adjourn its hearing on his professional future so he could be properly represented at a hearing in London.

In a letter through his solicitors, he told the council he wanted disciplinary action taken against him put back so he could take up a 'pro bono' offer from a barrister.

But he said the prison term reflected that Dr Jones had created other images and that Dr Jones held previous convictions of a sexual nature.
The north Wales GP was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years.
